Time Management For College Students
Time management is a key essential in getting hold of your life and keeping it on track. And when you’re in college, it seems almost impossible. There’s papers that need to be published, projects that need to be submitted, studying to be done regularly, internships and a plethora of other sports and co-curricular activity. Here are a few time management tips to make your life easier.
- Set out a list of the things you need to do, daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, etc. and prioritize the things on your list. You see, some things can wait, but others can’t. make the differentiation between them.
- Understand what kind of a person you are. What schedule works for you, what priorities work for you and similar stuff. This will help you create for yourself a program you can work with.
- Get the right amount of sleep. Being sleep deprived does not make you awesome. It makes you lethargic and unfocused.
- Even the smallest things matter. So if you have 10 minutes in between two meetings, utilize them for something productive, like reading a book you want, or that article you pinned on Pintrest. Find something to do every minute of every day.
- You need to reward yourself when you do well. Acknowledge the things you do reward yourself with something you like and enjoy.
- There are things that everyone can do to make their lives easier. Why not start with these?
