International Women’s Day 2022
International women’s day was celebrated by Baddi University of Emerging Sciences and Technology on 10th March 2022 from 11:00 am to 02:00 pm . The theme for this year was “Gender equality today for a sustainable tomorrow”.
Prof. Dr. Raman Kalia was the Chief Guest of the event and Guest of Honour were Mr. Pawan Agarwala Vice – Chairman of Baddi University.
The programme commenced with welcome speech by Prof. Usha Mehta Principal of BUEST Nursing College.
During the event Prof. Dr. Raman Kalia addressed the audience and appreciated the efforts of the women’s of the society. She also appreciated the students for skit and other cultural activity.
On the same occasion Guest of Honour were Mr. Pawan Agarwala Vice – Chairman of Baddi University also shared his views.
Prof. (Dr.) J.K Sharma Vice- Chancellor Baddi University also enlightens the participants through his wise words during his inspirational speech and explores the importance of International Women’s Day.
The event was presided over by Vice- Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) J.K. Sharma. Registrar -Prof. Dr. Khushmeet Kumar, Dean SW -Prof. Dr. Ravinesh Mishra , Dean SMS -Dr. Arunkant Painoli, COE -Dr. Vibhu Sharma, HoD SOS – Prof. Dr. Nidhi Gupta ,HoD SOAS -Dr.Keshav Sharma , HoD CSE- Mr. Parulpreet Singh, HoD EE- Dr. Geena Sharma graced the occasion with their esteemed presence.
Function was concluded with vote of thanks by Nursing Tutor Jyoti Gill, Coordinator Assistant Prof. Ms. Sapna Rana . All the faculty staff and students of BUEST Nursing College participated authentically in the event.
