School of Sciences, Baddi University of Emerging Sciences and Technology (BUEST) organized an industrial visit for the students of M.Sc Chemistry 2nd sem, B.Sc Hons. Chem. – 4th sem and B.Sc Hons. Chem. – 6th semester  on  1st April 2024 to Unichem Laboratories Ltd., BADDI  (H.P). Industrial visits offer students practical insights into real-world applications of their academic knowledge, and visiting a facility like Unichem Laboratories limited  can provide them with valuable exposure to industrial processes related to their field of study.

The Production manager and  Industry Personnel interacted with students and provided detailed information of different  departments and sections of the company like manufacturing, packaging, production, quality control, quality assurance etc. The students witnessed the manufacturing and packaging of tablets, capsules. The production manager  also informed students about the  export of their products to the U.K.

During the visit, students likely had the chance to observe the packaging of various products and learnt about the handling of various instruments. The manufacturing equipment was displayed for the students and Mr.Sahil Gautam explained their application and quality analysis of various samples. Such visits not only enhance students’ understanding of theoretical concepts but also give them a glimpse into potential career paths and the practical challenges faced by industries. It’s commendable that BUEST organizes such industrial visits, as they play a crucial role in enriching the educational experience of students and preparing them for future professional endeavors.
