School of Sciences (SOS), Baddi University of Emerging Sciences and Technology (BUEST) organized an industrial visit for the students of M.Sc & B.Sc (Honors) Chemistry on April 17, 2024 at ARISTO Pharmaceuticals Private Limited, Baddi. Visit to ARISTO Pharmaceuticals Private Limited in Baddi was an enriching experience, offering insights into various aspects of pharmaceutical manufacturing and operations. The visit began with an overview of the company, its history, mission and values. It covered the company’s areas of specialization, market presence, and its contributions to the pharmaceutical industry. The students were typically taken on a guided tour of the manufacturing facility which included different sections such as the manufacturing units, quality control labs, packaging areas and warehousing facilities.

Students got an opportunity to learn about the quality control (QC) measures employed by ARISTO Pharmaceuticals to ensure the safety, efficacy, and compliance of its products with regulatory standards which involve discussions on quality control testing methods, various equipments used such as Centrifuge machine, Refractometer, HPLC, IR, UV-Vis Spectrophotometer, GC, FTIR, Polarimetry and Thermal Shaker etc. The visit was interactive throughout where students were inquisitive and asked questions from the company representative (Mr. Vivek Kumar, QC Manager) to gain deeper insights into specific areas of interest. Industrial visits often provide excellent networking opportunities, allowing students or professionals to connect with industry professionals, potential mentors, and peers who share similar interests.
