School of Sciences, Baddi University in coordination with Training & Placement department organized an Industrial Visit for the students of M Sc Chemistry & B Sc Chemistry on 27th February 2025 at Dabur India, Manpura Baddi. The visit started with a presentation by Mr. Mukesh Quality Head about company’s products, growth and status. After the brief introduction of the company the students proceeded to the Manufacturing Unit with Mr Dinesh in which they were apprised of the Raw materials used to make different products like toothpaste paste, Chyawanprash etc. After that the students visited the Production section with Mr Vinay. The company team had a very healthy communication and interaction with the students. The students also visited different sections of the company like, Manufacturing unit, Packaging, QC, QA etc. The students witnessed the manufacturing of packaging of Toothpastes, Chyawanprash and Hajmola. Students were allowed to closely observe the packaging of various products. The manufacturing equipment was displayed for the students and they explained their application and usage in the quality analysis of various samples. Students gained insights into good manufacturing practices (GMP), Quality control (QC) and regulatory compliance.
