An Industrial Visit was conducted by School of Management Studies,Baddi University of Emerging Sciences and technology,to Indo Farm Equipment Limited, Industrial park Phase-II, BADDI on dated 10/10/2023 for BBA 1^st Semester students making a total of 30 students. Ms. Manpreet  and Mr. Ravinder  accompanied the students.

Students got good exposure to production management in Machine Shop, Assembly line,   and inventory of the plant. Students got to know how manufacturing of a tractor is completed in a complete manner starting from engine block to paint shop and then ready for despatch to the distribution center. Students were made aware regarding how to meet the market demand? How to deliver products in right quality and quantities. The staff of the organisation was cordial and they explained everything in a very professional way so that students found it very easy to understand the concept of production management. Students visited the assembly line section where each parts of the tractor are to be fitted on the main chassis. Trainer also explained the concept of inventory management to the students. Positive feedback from the students showed their excitement to know about upcoming technologies, which can make their career bright.

Overall experience of every student, including staff, was really worth it to get updated with the latest production technologies and know how one can perform better in various job roles as explained by the trainer
