On 12th Feb (2024) Schol of Management Studies organized guest lecture for the students perusing MBA Pharma on topic- Production Planning and Control – An overview on Management Perspective. The key note speaker was Dr. Subrat J Sarkar, Manager (QA) Gracure Pharmaceuticals Ltd. Dr. Poonam, HOD, Management welcome the guest with bouquet. Dr. Subrat explained in brief how the production planning actually operates the manufacturing unit with live examples of pharmaceutical unit. He also briefs about CAPA process and how it helps in improving quality of process during production. He also briefs the role of 5MS – Man, Machine, Money, Material, Minute in the process of production planning. The session was very interetive and all students participated in the event. The event was concluded with the vote of thanks by Dr. Arun Kant Painoli, Dean, School of Management Studies. The event was coordinated by Miss Narinder , Faculty SMS.
