Baddi University of Emerging Sciences and Technology, Makhnumajra, Baddi, Distt. Solan (H.P.) has been operating under the aegis of the Centre for Advanced Studies in Engineering since 2009.
Centre for Advanced Studies in Engineering is a Registered Educational Body registered vide No. 37056 on 2nd May 2000 in the office of the Registrar of Societies, Govt. of NCT of Delhi with a deep commitment to promote and propagate quality technical education. To fulfil the commitment, School of Engineering & Emerging Technologies (SEET) was established at Baddi in the year 2002, which transformed to Baddi University of Emerging Sciences & Technologies (BUEST) 2009 as an industry-savvy, state-of-the-art internationally ranked university having techno-managerial prowess.
Society is also Registered under the U/s 12AA of the Income Tax Act, 1961 and 80G (Regd. No. DIT(E)/2007-2008/C-603/1648 dated 02.09.2008.
The promoters of the Society are highly qualified persons, having vast experience in the field of education, who are dedicated to produce excellent and quality technical education based on moral values and ethics. The main objective of the Society is to develop skilled and educated manpower in the area where there is acute shortage. The Society aims at making its university one of the best University in the country to enable its students to acquire top places in the national and international market. .
In a very small span, the Society has been able to achieve success and command respect in the eyes of the people of the region with its non-profit educational and charitable activities in the region.
The University run by the Society command respect and affection not only in Himachal Pradesh but also in the neighbouring states. The students come from Himachal Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab, Chandigarh, Uttar Pradesh, Uttrakhand, Bihar, Jammu & Kashmir & North-East States etc. to study professional courses run by Baddi University of Emerging Sciences & Technologies.
Since from the day first, the Society is engaged in educational services and targeted to serve unselfishly and honestly to the student community irrespective of age, sex, caste & creed. All the courses being run by the Society is recognized and none of the course offered will be of private or autonomous nature. Society is targeted to disseminate professional and job oriented courses in the discipline of Engineering, Pharmacy, Management, Nursing & Life Sciences etc. The executive members of Society are eminent personalities from education, industry, profession and social workers.
The primary aims and objects of the Society are to provide, offer, promote and disseminate education at all levels of primary, middle, higher secondary and higher education. The Society is ever willing to offer high quality and standardized education to needy students’ at most affordable rates with reservation for poor and weaker class students, handicapped and disadvantaged students as well as different type of scholarship for the needy and meritorious student. At the same time Society is willing to produce highly calibrated student from its institutes.
