On 23, February 2024 a workshop conducted by School of Agriculture Sciences, Baddi University of Emerging Sciences and Technology in Govt. Model Sr. Sec. School Barotiwala. In this workshop samples of millets and medicinal plants were showed to students. Lectures were also delivered to the medical and non medical students of +1 & +2 class. Mr. Gurwinder gave the expert lecture on ‘Use of millets in diet’ and emphasised on the various recipes, nutritional values of millets.

Mrs. Gurbaksh delivered her lecture on ‘Health benefits of medicinal plants for well being’. She highlights the various uses of medicinal plants that are present around us but people are not aware of their uses.

Ms. Ankita present the live samples of millets and medicinal plants to teachers and students of school and also highlights the importance of agriculture and courses offered by Baddi university.
