A visit to Future grower farm at Ghanouli

School of Agriculture Sciences, Baddi University of Emerging Sciences and Technology was organised a visit to Future grower farm at Ghanouli on 20th Feb 2025. The purpose of this engaging visit was to educate participants about diversified cropping through sustainable agriculture practices. During the visit, Mr. Amandeep singh , founder of future grower farm detailed various multiple cropping patterns. This farm mainly cultivates exotic vegetables such as zucchini, lettuce and different coloured capsicums (yellow and red) etc. He also discussed the soil testing and nutrient requirements of different crops. Plastic mulches were used for production of different crops.He also elaborated the main objective of the mulching to protect soil from erosion, improve soil structure , reduce weed growth , reduce insect and disease attack and enhance plant health. These initiatives are essential for cultivating the upcoming generation of agricultural experts who are knowledgeable in both theory and application. It will additionally create chances for upcoming entrepreneurs.
