School of Management Studies, Baddi University of Emerging Sciences and Technology organized “Prabandhotsav 2018 – Ocean of Creativity”, management Fest on 23rd march, 2018. The main objective behind organizing such events is to showcase multifaceted talent of our students and provide them exposure in understanding and applying concepts of general management, finance and marketing in practical situations. They gain first-hand experience in management events through planning, resource mobilization and team work

There were 25 events in total in one day: Bech Ke Batao, Best Ad Mad Show, Extempore, Mock Interview, Case In point, Business Plan, Management Quiz, Solo Singing Solo Dancing, Group Dance, Group Singing, Drama, Rap Battle, Mimicry, Poster Making, Paper craft with newspaper, Tile Decoration, Ice cream Stick Modeling, Rangoli, Corporate Roadies, Devil follows, Mock CID, Cosplay for famous world leaders, channel surfing and Best video coverage. The response of various participants has been encouraging for all the events. More than 200 participants from different colleges and various departments of Baddi University participated in different events.

Sponsors for the event were Asian Cement Ltd, Indo farm Equipment Ltd, Canam Consultant Ltd., Shivalik Solid waste Management Ltd, Vardhman, Glen mark, Golden Tyre and Time Technoplast. Media partner for the fest was News18 TV channel.

The chief guest for the function, Mr. Sukhmeet Grewal, President, CANAM Group, spoke about the importance of the entrepreneurial spirit, while inaugurating the fest. Mr. Arvind Raman, plant head, ACL was invited as the guest of honor for morning session. Mr. A.K. Puri, Senior Vice President, Vardhman Textiles, Mr. Rahul Bansal, Medilab, Mr. Saransh Sharma, CII Executive, Mr. Rahul, HR, Glenmark, and various other dignitaries were also present there from industry and media.

All the performances were amazing and spectacular. Mr. Dipesh Shekhri, Director, Art of Dance Academy, was invited as the judge for the Cultural events.

The one day fest concluded with a valedictory function. The chief guest for the evening session,  Mr. Ashok Sharma, CEO, Shivalik Solid Waste Management Ltd, congratulated the organizing team for the initiative and success of the fest. The Manager HR of ‘Indofarm’ Mr. Ravinder Saklani was the other dignitary who had appreciated the institution and students for the program’s success.  Various cultural programs entertained the gathering.

After announcement of the winners by the faculty members, cash prizes, trophies and certificate were distributed by Mr. Ashok Sharma, CEO, Shivalik Solid Waste management Ltd. and Mr. RavinderSaklani, Manager HR, Indofarm to the winners of each event.

At the end of function,Mr. Rajeev Kumar, Faculty convener, Prabandhotsav2018,expressed sincere gratitude to all the dignitaries, faculty and students present there for their support and congratulated students and faculty coordinators of different committees for successful organization of management fest” Prabandhotsav 2018-Ocean of Creativity”.

Honorable Vice Chancellor Prof (Dr.) T.R. Bhardwaj, Mr. RajenderGuleria (Dean IIPP), Prof (Dr.) Vinay Bhatia (Dean SEET) and Dean Student Welfare,    Prof. (Dr.) Nitin Verma (Dean R& D), Dr. Ravineesh Mishra (Director Alumuni), Students and faculty were present during the event.
