1. Baddi University: The college was established in 2002 by a society named Center for Advanced Studies in Engineering. The college is the best in its area and is known   to provide top notch education, notch theoretically and practically, to all its students.

2. Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee: The University was initially known as the University of Roorkee. It was established in 1847. The college was converted to an IIT in 2001.

3. Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur: The institute, a public research college, was established in 1959 under the Kanpur Indo-American Programme.

4. Indian Institute of technology, New Delhi: A public research University, the college is located in Delhi. The institute was established in 1961.

5. Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology University: The University was established in 1956 througha collaboration between the then states of Patiala and East Punjab States Union, the Central Government and the Patiala Technical Education Trust, located in Patiala.

6. Guru Nanak Dev University: Established in 1969, the university is located in Amritsar.

7. National Institute of Tech: Located in Kurukshetra, the Institute was established in 1963. The Institute was initially as the Regional Engineering College.

8. YMCA University of Science and Technology: Located in Faridabad, this is a state university that was established in 1969.

9. University Institute of Engineering and Technology, Kurukshetra University: A Government College established by the Kurukshetra Univerity in 2004.

10. Indian Institute of Science Education and Research: Academic programmes for the university began in 2007, located in Mohali and provide a variety of options for  students.
