Industrial Visit to Ambuja Cement “Nalagarh”
Department of Electrical Engineering & Civil Engineering, Baddi University of Emerging Sciences and Technology was organized an Industrial Visit to Ambuja Cement “Nalagarh” on March 21, 2025, for EE 8th, 6th, 4th & CE 8th, 4th Semester students.
The visit aimed to provide students with insights into various aspects of Cement making processes, quality assurance, and industry trends, bridging the gap between academic knowledge and real-world applications. Upon arrival, the students were warmly welcomed by the company representatives, who gave an overview of Ambuja cement Unit” Nalagarh”, its core services, and its role in the Industry. The session included interactive discussions led by Ambuja cement experts, where students learned about
1) Composition of cement:-
Clinker, Gypsum and Flyash
2) Chemical lab and Physical test lab
3) Controlled system monitoring of grinding, mixing and packing process.
The experts also provided guidance on career opportunities, essential technical skills, and industry expectations, helping students understand the evolving landscape of industry. The visit concluded with a Q&A session, allowing students to clarify their doubts and gain deeper insights into industry.
