World Cancer day was observed at ESIC Katha Hospital, Baddi on 4 Feb 2025 as a pore of the global initiative led by the Union for international Cancer Control (UICC) .The theme for 2025,” United by Unique” emphasized people centered cancer care, recognizing the uniqueness of every patients journey. This awareness program was conducted by B.Sc Nursing 4th year in the presence of Nursing Superintendent Ms. Alka.
The main objective of the programme was to educate patients and their relatives about cancer prevention, early detection and treatments. Role play was performed by B.Sc Nursing students in which they showcased real life scenarios to demonstrate cancer prevention methods, symptoms and early diagnosis techniques.
