Educational Visit to Patel Infrastructure Limited
The Civil Engineering Department embarked on an educational visit to the Patel Infra Baddi-Pinjore Highway construction site. Our students were accompanied by our esteemed faculty members, Mr. Satya Pal (Assistant Professor) and Mr. Neeraj Jikta (Research Associate).
The purpose of the visit was to provide students with practical insights into highway engineering and construction methodologies. Upon arrival, students were greeted by the project manager who provided a comprehensive overview of the project scope, objectives, and execution plan. The visit included a guided tour of various sections of the highway under construction, allowing students to observe firsthand the application of theoretical concepts learned in the classroom. They had the opportunity to witness the use of advanced construction equipment, materials testing procedures, and quality control measures employed to ensure the structural integrity and durability of the highway. Additionally, engaging discussions with site engineers provided valuable insights into the challenges faced and innovative solutions implemented during the construction process. Overall, the visit proved to be an enriching experience for the students, bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical implementation in the field of Civil engineering. It not only enhanced their understanding of highway construction techniques but also inspired them to pursue excellence in their academic and professional endeavors.
