IBM-ICE is the Innovation Center of Excellence (ICE) at BUEST powered by the industrialized expertise of the IBMers of ICE team. The aim of this program is to develop a customized industry oriented curriculum that skillfully nurtures and moulds the students into industry-ready professionals by focusing on real time learning via live projects, curriculum enablement and developments tuned to current industry needs. It is a powerful combination of technology, process expertise, talented work force and world class delivery. It has held a pivotal role in building a SMART world. The Program curriculum brings together the latest software content, real world industry experience, hands-on lab course and best practices, all into a single unique education program.

Project Based Learning: Projects are given by IBM itself in collaboration with CLi infotech.

Teaming: To build team spirit we have teams of 2-3 members and they work in a group to compete with each other, to enhance their communication skills, decision making and learn how to solve problems.

Open Source Repository: Open Source projects are collaboration opportunities that improve skills and build connections in the field and latest open sources are Radhat(Linux),Ubutun,MySQL etc.

Industry Mentorship: Students put their ideas on icos portal and it is checked by the IBM mentors.

Gurukool (Summer Industrial Interaction): Gurukool is a 3 days program organized by IBM in Bengaluru. Subject Matter Experts(SME’s) are present there and give them live scenario to work upon it and also share their work experience.

Student Monitoring & Tracking: Monitoring are based on Projects, Presentations and Class Test etc.

Live Webinars: Live Webinars are based on latest technologies like Cloud Computing, Artificial Intelligence(AI) ,Internet of Things(IoT), Machine Learning, Cyber Security etc.

Job Placements: IBM Students are placed in IBM ,Infosys, Capgemini, Cognizant ,Orange, NTT Data and many more.
